Socomec has announced the UK and Ireland availability of DELPHYS XM, a new advanced uninterruptible power supply (UPS) system designed to meet the demands of modern data centres and other critical infrastructures. Ranging from 300 to 800kVA/kW, the UPS features industry-leading power density, energy efficiency and a modular architecture, engineered to reduce the total cost of ownership (TCO) while ensuring maximum power availability.

DELPHYS XM addresses two major challenges – the demand for more power and the pressure on space; challenges which are particularly acute in the UK and Ireland data centre markets. It delivers 1MW in just 1m² – reducing the footprint by 50% compared to the average UPS and maximising operational space – and achieves up to 99% efficiency in Smart Conversion mode and 97.1% in online double conversion mode. Smart Conversion mode significantly lowers operational costs and energy consumption while reducing cooling requirements and saving up to 42 tons in CO₂ emissions.

Socomec’s new UPS also meets the serviceability and resiliency needs of modern data centres. Its intuitive 10-inch HMI touchscreen simplifies monitoring, while LED indicators provide clear system status at a glance. With real-time remote troubleshooting, immediate fault analysis and actionable alerts, operators can swiftly address issues, minimising disruptions.

DELPHYS XM features a modular design with hot-swappable 100 kW power modules ensuring maximum uptime. Paired with Socomec’s expert service packages, which include tailored response times and 24/7 support, DELPHYS XM ensures resilience and reliability for the most critical applications.

“DELPHYS XM represents a significant leap forward in power management technology,” said Valentino Formentin, Product Creation Leader at Socomec. “It has the ability to maximise overall performance and generate wider benefits, guaranteeing uptime and superior resiliency. We know that this synergy will provide tangible value to our customers, positioning them to deliver their best possible performance, even in the most demanding settings. DELPHYS XM makes it easier to achieve elite-level efficiencies than ever before.”
