Empyrion Digital partners with Nokia to enhance Seoul's data center infrastructure

Nokia collaborates with Empyrion Digital to upgrade data centres in Seoul, Korea with advanced network solutions.

Nokia recently announced a strategic collaboration with Empyrion Digital, a prominent digital infrastructure provider in Asia. This partnership will see the deployment of Nokia's data centre gateway and aggregation switches at Empyrion’s new Gangnam Data Center in Seoul, Korea.

Empyrion Digital specialises in developing and operating data centres to bolster digital ecosystems across Asia, catering to both hyperscale and enterprise colocation businesses. The region faces increasing data traffic, placing significant pressure on digital infrastructure providers to maintain high-performance systems consistently.

With Nokia’s cutting-edge IP network solution, including the 7250 Interconnect Router (IXR), core network switches, and the 7210 Service Access System (SAS), Empyrion will enhance their IT network's reliability, scalability, and efficiency. The routers and access switches are set to enable more robust data centre interconnect networks, ensuring optimal performance across Empyrion's facilities.

These solutions are designed to meet the evolving needs of digital infrastructure providers, enabling automation-ready systems while promoting energy efficiency. Nokia’s extensive supply chain capabilities in Asia will facilitate quick deployment, ensuring Empyrion Digital's market competitiveness.
