Alteryx expands Google Cloud partnership for AI analytics

Alteryx and Google Cloud team up in a partnership that aims to enhance BigQuery's accessibility, enabling businesses to streamline AI-ready analytics with governed workflows.

Alteryx, an AI-ready data and analytics company, has announced its collaboration with Google Cloud to enhance the accessibility of BigQuery—Google’s autonomous data-to-AI platform. This partnership is focused on delivering actionable insights, helping Alteryx business teams move from data to insight to action.

As organisations increasingly leverage cloud data platforms, they encounter challenges related to where data resides, how it's prepared, governed, and operationalised. Collaborating with Google Cloud, Alteryx aims to bridge this gap by directly bringing governed analytics workflows to users of BigQuery. Enterprises can hope to move at a faster pace from data insights to actionable outcomes without compromising trust or scalability.

Alteryx plans to introduce Alteryx One: Google Edition, designed for organisations integrating Google Cloud technologies. This offering, available through Google Cloud Marketplace, combines Alteryx’s analytical capabilities for processing data with direct Google ecosystem integration, including connectivity to BigQuery, Google Sheets, and Google Drive. This aims to allow teams to automate workflows and accelerate insights within Google Cloud.

With the general availability of Live Query for BigQuery, users can construct and execute workflows within BigQuery, negating the need to move data. This approach aims to ensure that AI-ready insights while maintaining business logic, security, and performance. It simplifies cloud architecture, allowing teams to derive insights faster without sacrificing security or operational trust.

For information workers, this provides them with intuitive access to process datasets without requiring SQL. For IT teams, it enhances security, governance, and simplicity, as all operations remain within Google Cloud—leveraging existing Google Cloud investment ROI.

As AI application in business surges, aiming to ensure accuracy and transparency in these processes becomes important. By leveraging Google's cloud capabilities, Alteryx integrates governed logic directly into BigQuery, aiming to help business experts maintain consistency as AI evolves.

Through this partnership, Alteryx aims to support automated data preparation, helping maintain datasets that are actionable and secure while adapting to evolving enterprise requirements. This collaboration aims to provide a more integrated approach for adopting a Google-first analytics workflow.
