Infosecurity Europe launches cyber startup programme

Infosecurity Europe, an information security event, set for 2-4 June 2026 at Excel, has introduced its Cyber Startup Programme. This initiative aims to spotlight burgeoning cybersecurity talent and help strengthen the future of the cyber ecosystem.

The programme will make its debut at Infosecurity Europe 2026, aiming to highlight the next wave of cybersecurity innovators. It will bring together startup founders, investors, and ecosystem enablers. The show-floor experience will feature exhibition space, tailored conference content, a live competition, and networking opportunities.

At the heart of the programme is the Cyber Startups Zone, a dedicated space where ambitious startups can showcase emerging technologies, share ideas, and engage directly with customers, partners, and investors. 

Tailored tickets are on offer for startup founders, investors, and enablers, supporting businesses at various stages of their journey. From becoming channel-ready to connecting with partners, identifying emerging trends, and building investor relationships, the programme seeks to cater to diverse startup needs.

The event is held in collaboration with UK Cyber Flywheel, with a founder and investor-focused content day, networking, and live award competition. Key highlights include the Infosecurity Europe Cyber Startup Award 2026, where finalists will pitch to an audience of industry leaders, investors, and buyers. The winner will earn a free exhibition stand at Infosecurity Europe 2027, PR support from Origin Communications, and a consultation package from Dusted brand consultancy.

Participants must submit a written entry detailing company and product specifics. Further entry details are accessible online.

Munawar Valiji, CISO and Cyber Advisor for UK Cyber Flywheel, emphasised the programme's significance in strengthening the UK's cybersecurity landscape. 

The event will also feature sessions specifically designed for startup founders, offering insights into scaling, strategy, and growth. The Cyber Innovation Zone, in partnership with the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology, hopes to highlight innovative cybersecurity businesses.

Free registration is available until 12th May, post which the cost is £49, including access to the exhibition floor and theatre sessions.
