Extreme Networks expands adoption of Platform ONE for IT management

Extreme Networks reports growing adoption of Platform ONE, with customers using its AI-driven model to support IT operations globally.

Extreme Networks has introduced Extreme Platform ONE, an IT management platform featuring AI-powered automation. The platform is being used by organisations worldwide to reduce manual tasks and streamline operations.

Organisations across multiple sectors have adopted Platform ONE, including Asiana Airlines, Bridgeport Public Schools, and Middlesbrough College. These users are using the platform to reduce network complexity through its unified management approach.

A study by ACG Research reports that organisations using Platform ONE may reduce total cost of ownership by 32% compared to its competitors. The platform’s unified management and zero-touch fabric provisioning are designed to support large-scale environments. For example, an organisation with 500 locations could see estimated savings of around $16 million over five years.

Some users report operational changes following adoption. Johnstone Supply Company has gained a real-time view of network performance across multiple locations, which has supported operational efficiency. Middlesbrough College reports a 90% reduction in troubleshooting time.

Nabil Bukhari, CTO at Extreme, describes the direction of networking as shifting away from managing complexity toward reducing it, with AI integrated into platform architecture to support faster response times and lower operational costs.

As organisations continue to adopt Extreme Platform ONE, reported outcomes include improved visibility, faster task execution, and increased productivity in network management.
