Abnormal AI strengthens leadership with strategic appointments

Abnormal AI strengthens its team with key executive hires amid rising AI-generated cybersecurity threats, aiming to enhance product innovation and customer support.

Abnormal AI, a cybersecurity company, has announced the appointment of three senior executives to its leadership team. Stephen Harrison has been named VP of Product, New Products, Noah Rolff joins as VP of Customer Success, and John Slavitt takes on the role of Chief Legal Officer. The appointments come as the company continues to operate in a period of evolving challenges and opportunities in the cybersecurity landscape.

The increasing sophistication of AI-generated cybersecurity threats is driving enterprises to seek more advanced security solutions. Over the past six months, Abnormal AI has reported a 97% rise in such attacks bypassing conventional Secure Email Gateways. In response, the company is continuing to invest in its leadership team and the development of its Behavioural AI Platform to support enterprise security needs.

Stephen Harrison, formerly CISO at MGM Resorts International, will lead product innovation. In his role at Abnormal, he will focus on advancing the company’s behavioural AI capabilities and supporting the development of its enterprise security offering.

Noah Rolff brings experience from customer-focused roles at companies including Palo Alto Networks and Medallia. As VP of Customer Success, he will oversee customer onboarding and support, with a focus on implementation and platform adoption.

John Slavitt brings experience in legal and compliance roles across the technology sector, including positions at Check Point Software and Gong. As Chief Legal Officer, he will oversee legal, regulatory, and compliance functions as the company continues to develop its behavioural AI platform.

Evan Reiser, CEO of Abnormal AI, commented on the importance of staying aligned with market needs as the company develops. The company states that its leadership appointments are intended to support continued product development, operational scale, and customer adoption.
