Cloudways, a part of DigitalOcean Holdings, Inc., has recently unveiled the full version of Cloudways Copilot. This AI-powered tool aims to revolutionise how digital native enterprises address server issues, offering swift automatic diagnosis and solutions.

Previously, resolving server issues through Cloudways' human support team took an average of 30 to 40 minutes. However, with Copilot, this resolution time has been slashed to five to six minutes. Such efficiency is vital since every minute of downtime could cost between $5,600 and $9,000 with further intangible costs through lost consumer trust.

During any site's downtime, Cloudways Copilot furnishes users with AI-driven insights rather than reactive alerts. This includes a pre-assessed root cause analysis and a tailored step-by-step resolution. Copilot's real-time insights cover potential issues, such as unoptimised database queries, disk space restrictions, bot actions, and both DDoS and DoS attacks.

The SmartFix feature further enhances user autonomy by providing one-click solutions, enabling users to handle issues without needing support intervention. For developers, this means addressing common issues quicker, while non-technical users gain confidence in independently resolving performance obstacles.

This introduction marks Cloudways as a pioneering entity in managed hosting, focusing on site management rather than site creation through AI-powered automation. The suite promises enhanced reliability and efficiency for businesses by proactively identifying and fixing potential problems before site performance is affected.

Suhaib Zaheer, SVP of Managed Hosting at DigitalOcean, commented, “Cloudways Copilot represents a major step towards our vision of building a fully intelligent managed hosting platform for the AI era. The solution empowers digital businesses to confidently navigate complex hosting challenges with intelligent automation – redefining what it means to be truly ‘managed’.”

Jonathan Sokol, a Cloudways customer and owner of Mint Media, said, “Cloudways Copilot has transformed how we manage 180+ sites by providing automated AI insights with specific solutions for issues, saving our team 15 hours in one month. Instead of spending hours debugging, we now get detailed breakdowns that help us quickly resolve problems—including one major issue that would have taken 7-8 hours to fix manually. It's like having a great assistant that identifies exactly what's wrong and how to fix it, making our troubleshooting workflow incredibly efficient.”

In conclusion, Cloudways Copilot sets a new benchmark in managed hosting by offering real-time AI automation for better user trust and secure business processes. With further Copilot developments anticipated, Cloudways continues to transform the digital landscape, making complex technical tasks more accessible.
