Hornetsecurity introduces AI-powered enhancements to its Teams Protection with rapid response tools tackling Microsoft Teams security threats.

Leading cybersecurity provider Hornetsecurity has rolled out significant enhancements to its Teams Protection solution. Powered by its AI Cyber Assistant, the new functionality specifically addresses the increasing threats targeting Microsoft Teams as an attack vector. These advancements aim to bolster defence mechanisms against the growing incidents of attacks via compromised accounts.

The latest features empower administrators with rapid response tools designed for seamless remediation of threats directly within the platform. This aims to drastically reduce the mean time security teams take to respond to incidents. The introduction of the auto-remediation feature addresses growing concerns about harmful content sneaking past unnoticed within Microsoft Teams, ensuring swift action against threats from a central, cloud-based Control Panel.

Teams Protection swiftly scans all messages containing URLs, issuing warnings about suspicious links directly within conversations. Administrators can then take decisive action, managing threats from the Control Panel by deleting malicious conversations and blocking sender access.
