Securonix, recognised in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for SIEM, has appointed Cyrille Badeau as Vice President of EMEA. This follows its acquisition of ThreatQuotient in 2025 and is intended to strengthen the company’s cybersecurity leadership.
Cyrille brings over 20 years of senior experience in cybersecurity. He will lead Securonix’s growth across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, focusing on expanding the reach of its Unified SIEM platform and its threat intelligence capabilities.
Previously, Cyrille served as Vice President of International Sales at ThreatQuotient, overseeing vendor development strategies across global markets. He also established Sourcefire’s French office in 2006 and managed its IDS/IPS portfolio for Southern Europe. After Cisco acquired Sourcefire, he became Cybersecurity Director for Southern Europe at Cisco. Earlier, he contributed to Webwasher’s French subsidiary and its subsequent acquisition by Cyberguard.
Commenting on his appointment, Cyrille highlighted the combination of Securonix’s UEBA expertise with ThreatQuotient’s threat intelligence capabilities. His focus will be on expanding Securonix’s regional presence, strengthening its partner ecosystem, and supporting customers in improving detection and response across Europe and MEA.
Cyrille joins Securonix at a time of growth, following recognition as a Technology Leader in the QKS Group's SPARK Matrix and multiple other industry awards for threat detection and response.
The integration with ThreatQuotient provides a broad portfolio in threat detection, enabling Securonix to deliver a fully integrated Unified SIEM platform with enhanced visibility and operational clarity.
With Cyrille’s addition, Securonix’s leadership team, including Leon Ward, Chris Jacob, Gigi Schumm, and Matt McCormick, is positioned to support further growth and regional expansion.
