AlphaSense is expanding its global operations in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) and Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) regions, in response to increasing demand for its Applied AI capabilities and domain-specific AI workflows. The company reports continued growth across both regions over the past year.
The expansion includes two senior leadership appointments, additional AI capabilities for translation and multi-language document analysis, and expanded regional content. These developments support customers across financial services, life sciences, technology, energy, and industrial sectors. Since opening its Singapore hub in 2023, APAC customer growth has exceeded 50% year-on-year, supported by a team of more than 120 staff across sales and marketing.
Julia Lecocq has been appointed SVP of International Corporate Sales and UK Country Manager. With around 20 years of experience at GLG and Percolate, she will lead UK and EMEA operations, focusing on aligning regional demand with global operations. June Boo, formerly Head of Asia Business at LinkedIn for Sales, has been appointed VP of Corporate Sales and Singapore Country Manager, with responsibility for adoption across APAC’s corporate and financial sectors.
The company has also expanded its multi-language platform capabilities. This includes access to multi-language sources and coverage of more than 10 million private companies across EMEA and Japan. Generative Search now enables translation and analysis of multi-language documents to support non-English market coverage.
AlphaSense is also expanding its content base, with plans to grow its database to over 500 million business documents across more than 37 languages, including Mandarin, Japanese, and Spanish. This includes expansion of its Tegus Expert Transcript Library, which is being more than doubled this year. The platform provides macroeconomic, regulatory, and company-level information, as well as interview and field-based insights.
