Trendit contracts Infobright to build its database capacity

Trendit (TRIT), the provider of cutting-edge technology for real-time monitoring of population movement, trend analytics, and crowd behaviour,has expanded its database infrastructure capacity by appointing Infobright as its database solutions provider.

Infobright delivers a high performance database platform that serves as a key underlying infrastructure for 'The Internet of Things'. It is specifically focused on enabling the rapid analysis of machine generated data and powers applications to perform interactive and complex queries resulting in better and faster business decisions. 

 

Commenting on Infobright's appointment, Benny Saban, CEO Trendit, said: "Trendit requires a robust backend solution to serve the vast amount of data generated by its Trend Engine analysis. Using Infobright, we now have the capability to compress and archive millions of records within a very short time, and also query the data at high speed.

 

"Since the IPO at the start of the year, Trendit has held discussions with a number of potential commercial partners who have been impressed by our technology and its capability. Talks are ongoing and we will update the market accordingly on any significant progress. The Board is also attending the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona later this month."
