The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) has partnered with Exponential-e to enhance its digital infrastructure by delivering consistent and resilient internet connectivity across 30 sites in England and Wales. This move supports CPS's transition to a flexible, user-centric, zero-trust digital workspace.
In line with its strategy to enhance digital capabilities, the CPS is focusing on securing its data and maximising its value. The solution provided by Exponential-e helps facilitate this vision, offering internet access and enabling the CPS to migrate to GovWifi.
This fosters collaboration across government agencies, allowing for co-located working environments with partners like the Police and His Majesty's Courts and Tribunals Service (HMCTS). This provides secure and consistent access to digital services and supports standardised practices across CPS facilities shared with other public service providers.
As the CPS intensifies its investment in digital strategies, this partnership hopes to advance operational efficiency, delivering a safe and effective infrastructure to support the efforts of its 8,000 staff.
Afshin Attari, Director of Public Sector and Unified Platforms at Exponential-e, emphasised the pivotal role of connectivity, "The CPS is at the heart of our Criminal Justice System and as such is evolving to the rapidly changing nature of crime to improve the way justice is done." He pointed out the significance of solid connectivity, "Our internet connectivity solution will enable their teams to work more effectively, ensuring seamless and secure access to key systems and data. We're excited to help the CPS strengthen its capabilities to deliver a modern, flexible IT infrastructure and support them as they continue to unlock the value of their digital environment."
